About my visit
Upon checking, we were asked for ID or certification papers. I explained the law and that it was illegal to ask for these things. We were allowed to check in and were told the resort manager would follow up with us. The manager was amazing and incredibly welcoming of education on service dog law. He agreed to update their policy. He was also grateful for advice on handling situations when a dog is not acting appropriately. This turned into a great experience. We've returned to this resort a couple of times since and have had great times there.
