Flying with a service dog

About my visit
The DOT form required specific descriptions of tasks the service dog is trained for, much more detailed than ADA requirements. Once at the airport, we were directed to special services to get the service dog added to the handler’s boarding pass for TSA. The Jet Blue staff then brought our entire family to the priority line for TSA. They allowed pre-boarding for the service dog handler (a teenager ) and one adult. The economy seats in Jet Blue have a little more space in between seats than some other airlines - there was enough room for a 55 pound lab.
